Event Description

The Roseville Historical and Genealogical Society presents a program at the Library every month. For more information, please contact RHGS representative Ken Schramm at (313) 884 - 3067.

We invite Mr. Nick Sinacori to review the local legacy of French settlers, indigenous peoples, and African Americans. The program will focus on the Village of Fairview (in Grosse Pointe Twp, Wayne County, MI). Fairview existed from 1903 to 1907, when it hosted horse racing followed by car racing. Races included the Ford v Winton race that took place at the Detroit Driving Club.
