Deal Me In!: Gin Rummy Session 1

Event Description
Whether you are a card sharp or a card novice, learn (or learn again) to play three card games over the course of six Monday nights in September, October and November. Our presenter is a gaming enthusiast with many years of card playing experience. Each card game is taught during the first session and played socially during the second session. No experience, no problem. Have some experience, assist your fellow players in learning the game. We’re in it to meet people, learn new games and have FUN.
The games we will be learning are Cribbage, Gin Rummy, and Hearts.
Expanding on your newfound knowledge of card combinations, sequences, and “counting” Gin Rummy will open your mind to the concept of remembering what has already happened during a round of the game in order to be able to “Gin” or “Knock” before your opponent! This fast-paced game is a favorite and has many variations. Participants will be given instructions in basics and game play. Then you will play at least one game with a partner.
Registration begins October 2nd.
